Shanghai NieDuo Fabricating Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. is an importer submitted the material of Hastelloy, Inconel, Monel and Zirconium702/705 etc. and a manufacturer fabricated all types equipment and parts of these special material. These special material have become widely used by the oil and gas, chemical processing industries, phamaceutical, gas desulfurization industries, power, marine and many industries.
1.The company’ history and constituting:
Our company had been invested by engineering and technical personnels which has engaged in the application research, processing productis and technical development of special material for Hastelloy, Zirconium 702/705, Inconel and Monel alloies for long time.
As there is the strong corrosive catalyst (the iodine rhodium) in the acetic acid plant, which is manufacturing process of carbonyl synthesis production used main material of methanol and carbon monoxide in the low pressure condition, the excellent corrosion resistance materials ( Hastelloy C-276, Hastelloy B3, Zirconium 702 and Zirconium, 705) been used to fabricate equipment , parts and pipe systems.
In 1992, the technical personnels in our company had engaged in design, application research ,purchasing at abroad and constructing for the project of 80000 tons / year acetic acid in Zhenjiang Suopu Chemical Co., Ltd.
As there were not the equipment or parts, fabricating processes and reference standards /codes in domestic, it is very difficult to fabricate the equipment and parts for Hastelloy and Zirconium 702/705.
In 1995, our technical personnels was sent to Haynes International corporation in USA, which is a manfacturer of Hastelloy material , to learn theory basis , selecting material and material application for Hastelloy as well as was sent to Notoon corporation in USA, which is a manfacturer to fabricater pressure vessel for special material, for learn to fabricate speical material equipmen and took back a lot technical documents.
2.Our corporation makes the full used of its purchase channels at abroad and its rich experience in handing special materials to submitted the material, equipment and parts of Hastelloy, Zirconium 702 and 705, Inconel and Monel.Since 1997, the company was founded and professionally sold above special materials and professionally fabricated equipment/ parts of above special materials imported from abroad.

4. Performance and application for special material:
a. Hastelloy: Hastelloy C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidizers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated media (organic and inorganic), chlorine, formic and acetic acid, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions. It’s used in flue gas desulfurization systems because of its excellent resistance to sulfur compounds and chloride ions encountered in most scrubbers, C-276 alloy has excellent resistance to pitting and to stress corrosion cracking. It’s also one of the few material that withstands the corrosive effects of wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide.
b. Zirconium 702/705: In addition to resisting HCl at all concentrations and at temperatures above the boiling temperature, zirconium and its alloys also have excellent resistance in sulfuric acid at temperatures above boiling and concentrations to 70%. Corrosion rate in nitric acid is less than 1 mil/year at temperatures above boiling and concentrations to 90%. The metals also resist most organics such as acetic acid and acetic anhydride as well as citric, lactic, tartaric, oxalic, tannic, and chlorinated organic acids.
Relatively few metals besides zirconium can be used in chemical processes requiring alternate contact with strong acids and alkalis. However, zirconium has no resistance to hydrofluoric acid and is rapidly attacked, even at very low concentrations.
c. Inconel: is a standard engineering material for applications which require resistance to corrosion and heat. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good workability. The high nickel content gives the alloy resistance to corrosion by many organic and inorganic compounds and also makes it virtually immune to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking. The versatility of INCONEL alloy 600 has led to its use in a variety of applications involving temperatures from cryogenic to above 2000°F (1095°C). The alloy is used extensively in the chemical industry for its strength and corrosion resistance. Applications include heaters, stills, bubble towers and condensers for processing of fatty acids; evaporator tubes, tube sheets and flaking trays for the manufacture of sodium sulfide. The alloy's strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures make it useful for many applications in the heat-treating industry. It is used for retorts, muffles, roller hearths and other furnace components and for heat-treating baskets and trays. Brinell hardness is about 150.
d. Monel: A nickel-copper alloy with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media including sea water, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid and alkalies。It is widely used in many fields, especially marine and chemical processing. Maximum temperature range of 815°C. Brinell hardness is about 120.
